The Centro Cultural de Belém (CCB) is one of Lisbon’s most significant cultural and architectural landmarks, located in the historic district of Belém.
Opened in 1993, it was originally designed to host Portugal’s Presidency of the European Union but has since become a dynamic hub for the arts. The CCB hosts adiverse program of events, including concerts, theater performances, dance shows, film screenings, and conferences. It is also home to the Berardo Collection Museum, which features an impressive collection of modern and contemporary art, including works by Picasso, Warhol, and Dalí.
Beyond its cultural offerings, the CCB stands out for its striking architectural design, a blend of contemporary aesthetics with traditional Portuguese elements.
