Prof. Ambarish Ghosh is a faculty member at the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. His research focuses on active matter, magnetic nanorobotics, and microscale transport in complex environments. He is part of the team who received the 2026 IADR Innovation in Oral Care Award and is co-founder of Theranautilus, a deep-tech startup translating microrobotics for dental applications. His group has advanced the understanding of propulsion and control of microswimmers, enabling novel strategies for targeted delivery and minimally invasive therapies.
