Dr. Debayan Dasgupta is Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Theranautilus, the world's first company dedicated to commercializing magnetic nanorobots for clinical applications. He holds a PhD in Nanoscience and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, where he received the Institute Gold Medal for Best Thesis. His research focuses on magnetically actuated nanorobotics for oncology, endodontic disinfection, and dental hypersensitivity. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in journals including Advanced Healthcare Materials and Angewandte Chemie and holds multiple patents.
