Dr Esra Kosan earned her dental degree and PhD (Dr. med. dent.) in Adhesive Dentistry at the Dental Faculty of Charité University Medicine Berlin, Germany. She was later appointed as lecturer and head of the Dental Radiology Department at Charité University. Nowadays she is affiliated with the ITU/WHO AI for Health subgroup TG-Dental, an international expert working group that develops guidelines, evaluation standards and ethical frameworks for the use of artificial intelligence in dental research and clinical practice. Dr Kosan also serves as an Ambassador for the CED-IADR.
