Dr. Gitana Rederienė is a dental hygienist and public health expert with over 25 years of clinical and academic experience. She holds a PhD in Public Health from Vilnius University and focuses on strengthening the role of dental hygienists in prevention and oral health policy. Dr. Rederiene served as President of the European Dental Hygienists Federation until 2025 and is President of the Lithuanian Dental Hygienists’ Association. She is actively engaged in international research, education, and policy initiatives, contributing to professional development across Europe through teaching, publications, and leadership in dental public health.
