Guglielmo Campus is professor of Cariology at the Institute of Odontology, University of Gothenburg. He was professor at the University of Bern until July 2024. In October 2023 he received an honorary doctorate in Dental Sciences from the University of Gothenburg. He received an honorary professorship from University of Buenos Aires and from the University of Timisoara.

He was Coordinator of the Italian WHO Collaborating Center (WHO CC) for Epidemiology and Community Dentistry. He is authors of more than 300 publications (Pub-Med), with a H index (Scopus) 39 (iH12=32); H index (Google scholar) 58 (iH5=40); Total citations (Scopus) 6936.
