Prof. Dr. João Botelho earnt his Master’s at Egas Moniz School of Health and Science and PhD in Biomedical Sciences at Porto University, Portugal. He is nowadays affiliated with Egas Moniz School of Health as Head of the Translational One Medicine, besides acting as consultant for the World Health Organization. He has served as panelist for the update of the SPIRIT/CONSORT guidelines and he is co-author of the recent PRITEM guideline.
