Juliana Morais is a nutritionist with a Master’s degree in Biomedical Research from NOVA Medical School and a PhD in Metabolism – Clinical and Experimental from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP). She is currently an Invited Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences of the University of Porto (FCNAUP). Her research focuses on the intersection between nutrition, microbiome science, and systemic health. She has been involved in clinical and translational research exploring the maternal-fetal health, as well as in chronic inflammatory and metabolic diseases. Juliana is committed to integrating emerging scientific evidence into clinical nutrition practice.
