Raphaël Richert

Prof. Raphaël Richert is an Associate Professor at the Lyon Dental Faculty, with a research activity conducted in collaboration with the INSA Lyon School of Engineering. His research focuses on the development of digital twins for clinical decision support, with particular expertise in AI-based shape learning and biomechanical analysis. He also holds a University Diploma in Medical Education and has been involved in several nationally and European-funded projects in the field of dental education. Since 2022, his work has notably addressed the development of guidelines for the use of artificial intelligence in medical education, the evaluation of large language models (LLMs) on national multiple-choice question (MCQ) databases, and the assessment of their ability to link generated answers to national educational reference frameworks.
