Dipl. Ing. Stefan Rues is the scientific manager of the Dental Materials Section at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry of the University Hospital Heidelberg. Furthermore, he is primarily responsible for student education in the field of Dental Materials. As an author of more than 150 scientific publications, he is also a nationally and internationally renowned speaker. Stefan Rues is a member of various dental associations, serves as peer reviewer and editorial board member for various national and international journals. His scientific focus is on dental materials and dental restorations and their testing, intraoral force measurement, intraoral scanning accuracy, optimization of CAD/CAM procedures, numerical simulations such as finite element analyses, and mathematical aspects of various data analysis strategies.
